Can I buy more VPA sessions?
Yes! Whether you’re on one of our plans or not, you have the option to purchase individual VPA sessions one by one or in bundles. This is a great option for athletes on the Performance Package plan that want another VPA session, but not every month like in the other plans.
Can our Accountability Calls be back-to-back (to extend the length/frequency)?
No. The point of these calls are to replace personal meetings. Because we’re not physically there training you, we need to have regular times to touch base and communicate for training to run smoothly and effectively. If you squish them together, it does lengthen the time, but if you want to talk another time down the road, you would have used up your call and would have to wait longer. This is ineffective. We can get a lot done in 15 minutes, and regular times will help with accountability, consistency, and motivation, which improves the training experience and ultimately, your results.
How many VPA sessions can I have per month?
We recommend having at least 1-2 VPA sessions per month, but with the Elite Package, can be up to 4. With the Advanced Performance Plan, you have a maximum of 2 sessions per month. If you choose to have 2 that month, they will be bi weekly. If you choose to have only 1, it will be every 4 weeks. This is to ensure you have enough time to implement the training given in the Guide from each VPA session. Each month you can choose, but it is not set in stone. Just make sure you have enough time until the next one. If you’re on the Elite Performance Package, your sessions are weekly, but can be less. The most important thing to remember when we book these is to provide your video at least 48 hours in advance, preferably earlier. This allows us enough time to analyze your film thoroughly.
What if I don't have any videos of me playing?
It’s okay. If you don’t have game film, we give you specific exercises and drills to assess your movements, technique, strengths and weaknesses. Ideally it would be good to eventually get in a game and record it, but if that’s not an option, we do the next best thing.
I have game film, but it’s from a long time ago. Is this okay?
What we ask athletes for is their most recent game. This can date back however many months but ideally no longer than a year.
Do my sessions expire?
Each type of session has its own expiration date depending on the plan/package you purchase. If purchasing a plan with monthly sessions, they expire after every month, but are reloaded onto your account. This prevents accumulating session credits and motivates consistent usage of them. So, if you have one session every month and don’t schedule it for one month, it will expire and the new session will be reloaded onto your account.
Your sessions will be scheduled based on our discussions in our meetings, and regular, consistent sessions are recommended. At the moment, we are the only ones that can schedule the sessions.
Can I schedule sessions myself?
At the moment, only we can schedule sessions. Each athlete will be given a link to schedule in a time based on the available schedule and we will then plug that into your calendar. If you know your schedule ahead of time and like consistency, we can automate it so your sessions recur every week (depending on your plan) on that day and time.
Can I reschedule my session?
Yes you can reschedule your session. Message Jade on the app and he will reschedule it for you.
